FuelTransIT

Tanktroniks’ connected petroleum platform for improved delivery control, product integrity, and digital visibility.

Verification, control, and visibility in petroleum delivery

FuelTransIT is built to help fleets improve how petroleum deliveries are identified, verified, and recorded across a growing range of delivery workflows.

OPTIO

FuelTransIT Optio is an on-board delivery supervision system built to bring verification, control, and digital visibility to petroleum delivery operations. It is designed to integrate into the driver’s normal workflow, making deliveries more intuitive, automated, and error-resistant while digitizing delivery data in real time. Optio can be installed as a retrofit on existing trucks or integrated into new builds.

  • Verifies the delivery before product flows
Optio validates the product requested by the asset, the product available in the truck compartments, which compartment valve is open, and the product currently packed in the hose before authorizing delivery. If any condition is wrong, the system prevents delivery by keeping the solenoid valve closed until the issue is corrected.
  • Eliminates product mixing and cross contamination
A critical part of the system is hose verification. Because the hose can contain 50–150 litres of fuel, checking what is packed in the hose is essential to preventing the wrong product from reaching the customer tank. The OPTIO presentation also frames this as one of the product’s hero differentiators, with asset requirement, compartment check, hose check, and valve authorization all working together before fuel flows.
  • Guides the operator through a controlled workflow
Instead of relying on manual register setup and driver memory, the driver scans the asset barcode and the system automatically configures the delivery when conditions are valid. OPTIO is specifically positioned as a system that verifies the delivery, guides the operator, and captures the record.
  • Captures a complete delivery record
When the delivery is complete, the driver scans end-of-delivery, the system closes the transaction, the meter register finalizes the ticket, and a print command is triggered automatically. The ticket includes the date, time, product delivered, net quantity, customer information, and all equipment filled during the delivery.
  • Turns completed deliveries into usable business data
After each transaction, FuelTransIT automatically sends delivery data to the cloud database, including time and date, customer, location, product, quantity, and the specific equipment fueled. That data can connect to billing software, dispatch systems, and ERP platforms, allowing invoices to be generated almost immediately after delivery. For fleets without integrated backend systems, FuelTransIT also provides a web portal with map and table views of completed deliveries.
  • Creates asset-level visibility and accountability
Each transaction records exactly which piece of equipment was fueled, how much was delivered, when it happened, where it happened, and which product was delivered. The OPTIO deck ties that directly to stronger traceability, dispute resolution, faster office visibility, reduced admin effort, and better customer confidence.

Optimate

FuelTransIT Optimate is a metering package built to optimize operational safety and efficiency by automating the mapping, selection, and dispensing of fuel. It also captures and uploads essential delivery data, giving operations instant and accurate visibility into fleet activity
  • Automates mapping, selection, and dispensing
Optimate starts with Smart Product Grade Indicator setup based on the load plan from dispatch, allows the operator to select the delivery type, then starts the delivery after the asset is scanned. Delivery information is uploaded immediately following the job.
  • Prevents product mixing through automated control
Smart Product Grade Indicators transmit the compartment map to Optimate, while the truck controller and fuel register track hose pack, automate compartment changes, and manage line purges. The self-draining manifold is designed to ensure a complete and clean drain between product changes, helping protect product integrity throughout the delivery process.
  • Improves simplicity and reliability on the truck
Optimate uses a pressure transducer in place of an air eliminator, mounts the turbine meter remotely inline, and removes the need for dual pumpers because the system ensures proper line purging. The deck also notes that the approach has been in service for 25 years in Europe.
  • Improves safety and efficiency in the field
All vents and valves are operated automatically, the driver remains at the point of delivery, time on-site is significantly reduced, and the system is positioned as preventing contamination through automated delivery control.
  • Delivers high automation and instant visibility
The deck positions Optimate as offering very high automation, with automated line changes, compartment changes, and related control functions. It also emphasizes that drivers cannot mix fuel when using the system, do not need to return to the truck mid-delivery, and that all delivery data is transmitted wirelessly immediately following delivery.

From Delivery to Visibility

FuelTransIT captures individual and cumulative transaction data including time of service, customer, product, quantity, location, and the specific equipment fueled. That information is sent to the cloud and can connect with billing, dispatch, ERP, and reporting systems, helping fleets improve visibility and turn completed deliveries into receivables faster.
